Sandara Park: “Ang galing! Minzy’s Lovely Tagalog version!”
Sandara Park praised former 2NE1 member Minzy for her Tagalog version of her hit single “Lovely.”
Recently, the “Pambansang Krung-Krung ng Pilipinas” took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein she divulged her reaction to the Tagalog version of the song released in May.
“Ang galing! Minzy’s Lovely Tagalog version! Sobrang bagay ang boses nya and ung lyrics sa kantang ito~ nagustuhan nyo ba?! Hehehe suportahan natin ang bunso namin,” she said.
According to Minzy, she did not have a hard time performing the song because she studied hard in order to learn the language.
“Hindi naman ako sobrang nahirapan, because okay naman ang pronunciation ko,” she said.
“Every night, I tried to study the Tagalog words, translating everything into Korean and understanding the meaning of every word,” she added.
Minzy noted that it was Sandara Park who made her fall in love with the country.
The two are former members of K-Pop group 2NE1 which debuted in 2009.
However, Sandara and Minzy left the group after it was disbanded in 2016.
Sandara Park rose to fame when she became part of the ABS-CBN reality talent search Star Circle Quest.
