On IG stories, Neil posted a screenshot of the questionable module wherein people with tattoos are “simbolo ng pagiging kriminal.”

Recently, an exercise test of the subject Araling Panlipunan earned the netizens ire as one of the questions stated: “Ang tattoo ay simbolo ng __.”

Among the choices are the following: A. pagiging kriminal, B. pagkaalipin, C. kagitingan at kagandahan, and D. pagiging mababa ng katayuan sa lipunan.

But according to the DepEd answer key, letter A is the correct answer.

Netizens then went outraged following the post and among who earlier commented on the matter is film producer Neil Arce.

Neil posted a screenshot of the questionable module along with a photo of his “sleeve” tattoo.

A tattoo is called a “sleeve” when it covers almost the entire arm.

Neil directly hit DepEd in the caption.

For him, it seems that the department now has a new “mission” when it comes to teaching children.

“DepEd is on a roll I feel like teaching kids to be Judgemental is their new mission,” he noted.

Meanwhile, his soon-to-be-wife Angel Locsin was also victimized by body-shaming in a learning module wherein she was called an “obese person.”
