Daisy Reyes Becomes Associate Pastor
DAISY REYES – The former actress and beauty queen has officially been ordained as an associate pastor, marking a meaningful new chapter in her life and career. She received her Certificate of Ordination from The Evangelical Ark Mission (TEAM) International on April 12, 2026, during a ceremony held at their convention center in Las Piñas City.
Her ordination recognizes her long-standing commitment to ministry and her dedication to sharing the teachings of Christ. After meeting the organization’s requirements and undergoing the process of spiritual preparation, she was formally set apart for her role through prayer and a ceremonial blessing led by church leaders. The moment was deeply emotional for Reyes, as becoming a pastor had been something she had quietly hoped and prayed for over the years.
Reyes has spent around two decades actively serving in ministry, consistently participating in church work and outreach. She shared that her journey toward this calling was not something she originally expected, but she believes it was guided step by step by faith. She expressed gratitude and humility, saying she hopes to continue using her life to spread kindness, offer hope to those who feel lost, and help others better understand faith and compassion.
Her husband, Atty. Barry Tobias, was present during the ceremony and showed full support as she received her ordination. Despite this new role, Reyes also shared that she remains open to returning to acting, although she plans to be more selective with the projects she will accept. She mentioned an interest in doing drama or action roles if given the right opportunity.
Reyes emphasized that she now sees her purpose as encouraging people to stay hopeful, remain faithful, and trust in life’s timing. She hopes to inspire especially the youth and those facing difficulties to stay grounded, grow spiritually, and continue uplifting others in their own journeys.
