PBB Big Winner Lella Ford Defended by Mom Karla Estrada Against Bashers
KARLA ESTRADA – The actress and TV host expressed her outrage after her daughter, Lella Ford, faced harassment and disrespect online following her win as Kapamilya Big Winner in Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0.
Lella’s victory was compared with Kapuso Big Winner Caprice Cayetano, and the attention brought both praise and criticism for her performance during the show. Before the finale on February 28, Karla had already shared her thoughts on social media regarding the comments Lella received inside the Pinoy Big Brother house, emphasizing fairness and understanding toward her daughter. She said that Lella quietly completed her tasks, never publicly questioned anyone, and always acted with grace, letting her actions speak for themselves.
Karla asked the public not to direct their frustrations at Lella, explaining that emotions run high inside the house, the pressure is intense, and opinions formed in that setting may differ from what viewers see outside. She reminded followers that having opinions about a contestant’s performance does not always indicate bad intentions, and stressed the importance of respecting different perspectives. Karla highlighted that all the participants worked hard, made sacrifices, and deserve recognition and respect for their efforts.

On March 2, Karla also advised Lella to focus on future challenges outside the house, stressing the need to improve her skills as an actress and approach opportunities with dedication and confidence. She encouraged Lella to continue pursuing her dreams, reminding her that obstacles are part of the journey and that persistence and professionalism lead to success. Karla also thanked supporters who voted, helped, and followed the show.

Afterward, Karla reacted strongly to online harassment, sharing screenshots of abusive and threatening comments directed at Lella. One comment even referenced a deceased teenager, which Karla called unacceptable. She warned that such behavior would not be tolerated and that those responsible would be held accountable. She also shared the profiles of some haters, emphasizing that cyberbullying has consequences and that disrespect toward her daughter and family would not be ignored.
