Jeric Raval Reveals He Now Has Two Grandchildren from AJ
JERIC RAVAL – The actor has finally confirmed what fans have long speculated—that his daughter, AJ Raval, and actor Aljur Abrenica already have two children together. The veteran action star revealed this during a victory dinner celebrating the film Mamay: A Journey to Greatness, which recently won several awards at the 73rd FAMAS Awards.
According to Jeric, AJ has stepped away from show business to focus on raising her young children. He explained that AJ is very sensitive to criticism and easily affected by online bashing, which made her realize that a quieter life away from the spotlight suits her better.
For nearly two years, rumors swirled about AJ being pregnant, but neither she nor Aljur ever confirmed the reports. Jeric recalled that AJ often avoided the topic whenever asked. Now, he has put the speculation to rest by admitting that AJ is already a mother of two.
He first shared that one of his grandchildren, a girl, is only nine months old. Later, he clarified that AJ also has a son who is about a year and four months old, whom he fondly calls “Al Junior.” Jeric confirmed that both children’s father is Aljur Abrenica.
Despite the controversy, Jeric said he maintains a good relationship with Aljur. He even described the actor as a buddy, since they share common hobbies like collecting and playing with remote-controlled toys. Although the couple now lives in a different subdivision in Pampanga, Jeric cherishes every chance he gets to spend time with his grandchildren.
While he admitted feeling some regret that AJ left acting at such a young age, Jeric respects her decision to prioritize her family. He believes that at only 23 years old, AJ still has plenty of opportunities to return to showbiz if she decides to do so in the future.
