Marko Rudio Wins ₱1 Million and Recording Contract in Tawag ng Tanghalan
MARKO RUDIO – The singer emerged as the champion of Tawag ng Tanghalan: All-Star Grand Resbak 2025 Huling Tapatan during the latest episode of It’s Showtime on April 26, 2025.
With an outstanding performance, Marko secured a score of 96.15% from both the audience and the judges, ultimately winning the competition. As the grand winner, he was awarded ₱1 million, a trophy, and a management contract with ABS-CBN Star Magic, as well as a recording contract with ABS-CBN Star Music.
Marko’s success in Tawag ng Tanghalan marked a significant milestone in his career, but his journey began years earlier. In 2017, he first competed in Tawag ng Tanghalan on It’s Showtime, though he was eliminated in the early rounds. Determined to succeed, Marko returned in 2022, where he impressed both the audience and judges by winning eight consecutive rounds, advancing to the semifinals. In addition to his music career, Marko has appeared on various TV shows such as Eat Bulaga, Rated K, Bet ng Bayan, and Walang Tulugan, showcasing his musical talents and playing instruments like the guitar and piano.
Marko also ventured into original music, releasing songs like “Hiwaga,” which debuted on television in October 2022 and later became available on Spotify. Although he did not make it to the top three in the Tawag ng Tanghalan Grand Finals in May 2023, his remarkable performances continued to capture attention, including his renditions of popular songs and collaborations with artists such as Jed Madela.
In 2025, Marko returned to Tawag ng Tanghalan All-Star Grand Resbak 2025, where he delivered impressive performances of “This Love” by Maroon 5 and “Yugto” by Rico Blanco, winning his round. His dedicated fanbase, known as MRFC (Marko Rudio Fans Club), has been supporting him since 2022, contributing to his continued rise in the music scene.
