Isko Moreno Vows to Clean Up Manila Again
ISKO MORENO – The former Manila Mayor expressed concerns raised by Manila residents about the city’s current state, saying many believe it has become dirty and neglected again.
Speaking at his campaign kickoff on March 28 along R-10 Road in Manila, Isko shared what he has heard from locals during town hall meetings. Talagang kino-complain ‘yon ng mga taga-Maynila,” he said.
In response, Isko promised to restore cleanliness and order to the city. And that’s why, as you all know, bakit tayo sa R-10 magsisimula?

He also urged his supporters to stay focused on their campaign and avoid engaging in conflicts with supporters of other candidates. Domagoso emphasized that his goal is to improve Manila and serve its people, regardless of political differences.
Meanwhile, Isko Moreno Domagoso is a politician, actor, and former mayor of Manila. Born on October 24, 1974, he first gained fame as a teen actor before transitioning to politics. He served as Mayor of Manila from 2019 to 2022, during which he focused on urban renewal, cleanliness, social welfare, and infrastructure projects. He was praised for clearing illegal vendors and revitalizing public spaces.
In 2022, he ran for President of the Philippines but finished fourth. Before becoming mayor, he was Vice Mayor of Manila (2007-2016) and a City Councilor (1998-2007). He is known for his rags-to-riches story, having grown up in poverty in Tondo, Manila.
