In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Isko said that he needed to find another path after politics and it’s not every day that one will easily stumble upon success.

You have to find your roads,” Isko said. “Kapag ang isang kalsada na-block ka, or what you call stumbling blocks, you really have to find ways to move forward and move on with your lives.

He also said that people learn from both successes and failures and they apply those learnings for their next goal.

In the same interview, Isko also talked about his experience as a first-time grandfather of baby Scott.

According to him, having a child is both a blessing and a responsibility for his son Joaquin Domagoso and Raffa Castro. The former Manila mayor also said that he lets Raffa and Joaquin grow naturally to learn the curves of being a parent to their baby.

Isko is one of the new hosts of the revamped “Eat Bulaga” where he has his own segment called “G sa Gedli”. Buboy Villar, Paolo Contis, and Betong are also among the new hosts of GMA Network’s noontime show.

Paolo and Isko signed long-term contracts with TAPE Inc. earlier this month.
