TV Host Robi Domingo Posts Video on 35th Birthday
ROBI DOMINGO – The video posted by the TV host showing him making a reflection of his life and expressing his birthday wish earned comments.
In the Philippine showbiz industry, one of the most popular TV hosts is Robi who has hosted several prominent shows in the country. He is a former housemate of the ABS-CBN reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother. He finished his PBB journey as the 3rd Teen Big Placer 16 years ago.
After his PBB stint, Robi managed to remain in the limelight of the show business. His brilliance in TV hosting has attracted a lot of big offers for him including the hosting stint in The Voice Kids, The Biggest Loser: Doubles, and Shout Out.
From being a former PBB housemate, Robi Domingo also became one of the hosts of the reality TV show in several editions. He also did some acting projects. Living a celebrity life for decades now, the public is also aware about his love life.
In a vlog interview with Karen Davila, Robi revealed that it was in 2017 when he and Maiqui Pineda started to get to know each other more. Meanwhile, prior to it, they already know each other as they were batchmates in Ateneo de Manila University.
In 2020, during their Japan trip with some showbiz friends, Robi proposed for marriage to Maiqui and she said “yes” in front of many people walking across the Shibuya Street. The wedding of Robi and Maiqui was held at the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of San Isidro Labrador.
On the same day of her wedding with Maiqui Pineda, the grandmother of Robi Domingo passed away. However, it was initially kept from him so he can really enjoy his big day.
However, the relationship of Robi and Maiqui is battling a huge challenge even before they officially tied the knot. She was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease and she is currently undergoing treatment. Recently, the TV host celebrated his 35th birthday.
On his birthday, Robi Domingo took to social media a video of him seemingly reflection on his and Maiqui’s plans that were put on pause by her disease. The TV host revealed that targeted to be a father to this year, specifically this month, but it did not happen.
According to Robi, his birthday wish is not for him anymore but for his wife. He wants the sickness of his wife to be gone so they can return to their original plan. Here’s his post:
While there are a lot of netizens who greeted Robi Domingo a happy birthday, his video also earned negative comments from some of his followers. Some netizens think that his statement is allegedly insensitive and hurting on the part of Maiqui who did not want to get sick.
