JV Ejercito: “Nanghinayang lang ako sa P500 to P1000 na ginastos ng mga nagmomotor”
Former Senator JV Ejercito took to the micro-blogging site, Twitter wherein he expressed his frustration about the new protocol on motorcycle barrier.
Earlier, the Joint Task Force COVID Shield announced that starting Wednesday, August 19, motorcycle barriers are no longer needed among riders living in the same house especially in areas under the General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
“Nanghinayang lang ako sa P500 to P1000 na ginastos ng mga nagmomotor para sa barrier para lamang maiangkas ang asawa nila. Ngayong pandemya, ang laking halaga noon.,” JV Ejercito said according to Inquirer.net.
However, riders not living under the same house are not exempted. They are still required to have a barrier designed by Angkas.
JTF also reminded the riders and back-riders to wear a facemask and a full-face helmet when traveling.
The local government units under the modified general community quarantine have the option of whether to implement or not the new protocol depending on their situation.
