The first part of the Tinolang Manok recipe is the list of ingredients that you need to prepare. To yield up to five (5) servings, here are the ingredients that you should prepare:
- 2 lbs. chicken cut into serving pieces
- 1 cup hot pepper leaves
- 1 cup malunggay leaves
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 piece Knorr chicken cube
- 1 piece unripe papaya wedged
- 4 cloves garlic crushed and chopped
- 3 thumbs ginger julienne
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce patis
- 6 cups water
The next part of the Tinolang Manok recipe is the cooking process. It may take around an hour to cook this all-time favorite Pinoy dish. Here are the steps that you may follow to cook a delicious viand for you and your loved ones:
Step 1
Heat oil in a cooking pot and sauté garlic, onion, and ginger. Add the ground black pepper.
