Sharon Cuneta on Gabby and KC Concepcion
SHARON CUNETA – The Megastar turned emotional when talking about her former husband Gabby Concepcion and their daughter KC Concepcion, saying that the three of them “should’ve remained a family”.
Gabby and Sharon got married in 1984, were legally separated in 1987, and their marriage was annulled in 1993. They have a daughter named KC.
Sharon appeared on Tuesday’s episode of “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” where she talked about Gabby and KC.
In an interview with talk show host Boy Abunda, the veteran actress revealed that she got reunited with KC during the “Dear Heart” reunion concert last October. The last time she and her daughter saw each other was last January.
The Megastar told the King of Talk that she missed her daughter so much. She also said that no matter the fight, the mother will always forgive even if it’s the child’s fault.
“Kahit anong hidwaan, ang nanay, minsan nga ‘yung anak na may kasalanan, ikaw pa magpapakumbaba,” Sharon said. “Kahit galit na galit ka, pero pag niyakap ka ng anak mo, wala na, nakalimutan mo na, nothing matters.”
Sharon also revealed the reason why she kept crying during her “Dear Heart” reunion concert with Gabby.
According to her, the reason was because she, her former husband, and their daughter lost a lot of time together. The veteran actress also said that the three of them should have remained family had the circumstances been different.
“That family should’ve remained a family,” she said. “I did not imagine that that family would break up.”
