Here are the concert details for the Rivermaya reunion concert in 2024
RIVERMAYA – The OPM band is preparing for a much-anticipated reunion concert in February 2024.
Live Nation Philippines recently announced this one-night show, featuring original band members Bamboo Mañalac, Rico Blanco, Mark Escueta, and Nathan Azarcon. The concert is slated for February 17, 2024, to take place at the SMDC Festival Grounds. Tickets will be available for purchase starting November 17 at 3 pm via the SM Tickets website and outlets nationwide.
The concert will offer various ticket categories – P 2,550 for BRONZE, P 6,550 for SILVER, P 11,750 for GOLD, and P 14,750 for VIP. It’s an all-standing show, and ticket prices include SM ticketing charges, subject to change without prior notice.
The guidelines stipulate that minors from 10-17 years old need to be accompanied by an adult in the same section, ensuring their safety and adhering to a ratio of 4 minors to 1 adult. For entry, minors without guardians must secure a waiver. Pregnant women and individuals with medical conditions are encouraged to register upon entry for safety measures.
A specific area is allocated for PWDs, pregnant women, and children in each section. Valid IDs must be presented during ticket purchase and entry, and the promoter reserves the right to relocate PWDs for safety reasons. There is a limit of six tickets per transaction.
Meanwhile, the original lineup of Rivermaya consisted of Bamboo, Rico, Mark, Nathan and Perf de Castro. However, the band underwent changes with Perf departing in 1995, Bamboo in 1998, and Rico in 2007, leading to various alterations in its lineup. Despite these transitions, the band has persisted with Mark and Nathan as the sole remaining original members. Rivermaya is recognized for its chart-topping songs, including “214,” “You’ll Be Safe Here,” “Elesi,” “Kisapmata,” “Awit ng Kabataan,” and “Liwanag sa Dilim,” among others.
