Frank Magalona likes post calling dad’s ex-lover Abegail Rait a ‘homewrecker’ and ‘mistress’
FRANK MAGALONA – The son of the Master Rapper Francis Magalona, liked a tweet in which Abegail Rait, the former partner of the late rapper, is referred to as a “homewrecker” and “mistress.”
Francis M. was renowned as the Master Rapper or King of Rap in the Philippines. In 2008, he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia, but he continued to work on his music and collaborate with other artists during his treatment. Tragically, he passed away on March 6, 2009, due to multiple organ failure and septic shock, leaving a significant legacy in Filipino music.
On October 17, Abegail and her daughter Gaile Francesca appeared on ‘Pinoy Pawnstar,’ where they revealed her relationship with Francis. She also claimed that Francesca was Francis’ daughter.
Abegail stated, “For 15 years nanahimik ako, I didn’t say anything about me and my daughter. Siguro naman ito na lang ‘yung karapatan na pwede kong magawa para sa kanya (anak ko).” She added, “Kasi hindi naman ako nagsalita. I know people will judge me, but we exist. What we have is real… Mahal niya kami, and that’s a fact.”
The revelation garnered mixed reactions from netizens; some expressed support for Abegail, while others criticized the former flight attendant for openly acknowledging her relationship with Francis.
Additionally, Abegail’s interview faced criticism from netizens who referred to her as a ‘mistress’ and believed she had no right to make her affair with Francis public. One netizen commented, “I find it weird watching the video of Pinoy Pawnstar where a homewrecker revealed her affair with Francis M., saying, ‘I remained silent for 15 years.’ Of course, you will. You’re a mistress. Duh.”
Apparently, Frank Magalona, the son of Francis, liked the tweet where Abegail was labeled as a ‘homewrecker’ and ‘mistress.’ As of now, the Magalona family has not issued any statement regarding the Pinoy Pawnstar episode.
