Kathryn Bernardo Finally Speaks on Viral Video of Her Using Vape

Kathryn Bernardo addresses vaping video

KATHRYN BERNARDO – The actress has finally addressed the viral video in which she was captured using a vape.

The 27-year-old actress garnered attention last month after a video surfaced showing her using a vape. The video appears to have been taken discreetly and shared on TikTok, reportedly recorded during a break while filming her new movie, ‘A Very Good Girl.’ In the footage, Kathryn is seen vaping while seated on a bench, accompanied by her personal assistant.

As anticipated, the video provoked significant reactions from netizens. Certain fans expressed their disappointment, considering Kathryn a “role model.” On the other hand, some internet users defended her and contended that vaping carries no harm. They emphasized that as an adult, Kathryn possesses the right to make her own decisions, as long as they do not adversely impact others.

After maintaining silence, Kathryn Bernardo has finally spoken about the matter. During a sideline interview at the media conference for her movie, “A Very Good Girl,” the actress revealed feeling “saddened” by the video being taken without her knowledge, as she viewed it as a “violation” of her “personal space.”

“Well, una, sad ako na may video about it kasi parang [na-violate] ‘yung privacy ko. But then, it happened. So okay lang kung nangyari na… Kung ginagawa ko ‘yun, or ‘di ko ginagawa, or ginagawa ko lang ba yun sa movie, hindi naman ‘yun ide-define ‘yung pagkatao ko. It won’t make me less of a person,” she stated.

Kathryn Bernardo hopes that such an incident will not occur again. “I guess depende na lang ‘yun sa mga tao. Abangan niyo na lang din yung movie,” she mentioned. “Sana it won’t happen again kasi kailangan din namin ‘yung privacy and personal space.”
