Park Soo Ryun, a Korean actress who starred in the Kdrama series, Snowdrop, has passed away
PARK SOO RYUN – The Korean actress who rose to fame in the television series, Snowdrop, tragically passed away at the age of 29.
Her passing was confirmed by her family on Monday, June 12. According to the K-entertainment site Allkpop, Park Soo Ryun died as a result of falling down the stairs while on her way home. She was in a coma prior to her passing.
Soompi, another Korean entertainment portal, reported that her family has decided to donate her organs following her death. The actress’ mother expressed the importance of helping those in need, stating, “Only her brain is unconscious, and her heart is still beating. There must be someone who desperately needs [organs].” She continued by saying that as parents, they would find solace in knowing that her heart continues to beat in someone else’s body.
The funeral wake for Park Soo Ryun will take place at the Suwon Hospital of Gyeonggi Provincial Medical Center in Jangan-gu, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do.
Park Soo Ryun gained recognition for her appearance in the popular K-drama series Snowdrop. It is a South Korean television series starring Jung Hae-in, Jisoo, Yoo In-na, Jang Seung-jo, Yoon Se-ah, Kim Hye-yoon, and Jung Yoo-jin.
She made her debut in the entertainment industry through the creative musical Il Tenore in 2018. Throughout her career, she also showcased her talent in various plays, including Finding Kim Jong Wook, Passing Through Love, Siddhartha, and The Day We Loved.
