Jormiel Labador Defends Brother Rendon Against Bryanboy: “Wag mong idamay ang mahihirap”

Jormiel Labador defends his brother Rendon versus Bryanboy

JORMIEL LABADOR – The controversial social media personality defended his brother Rendon against fashion influencer Bryanboy.

It all started when Rendon’s newly-opened restaurant received backlash for charging P100 for extra rice. Rendon responded creatively by branding it as “motivational rice” and challenging people to work hard to afford it.

Bryanboy then made a video mocking Rendon’s approach, claiming that the “motivational rice” wasn’t expensive enough compared to “Gucci Rice,” which he alleged cost 20,000 euros or 1,212,000 pesos. Bryan stated that he wasn’t motivated by rice that cost only 100 pesos, as his standards were higher.

Jormiel was disappointed with Bryan‘s statement, particularly his reference to the poor people. He criticized the fashion blogger for mentioning the poor in his remarks and stated that being poor was not something to be ashamed of, as long as one was working hard and doing what was right in difficult times.

Jormiel also expressed doubt about the existence of “Gucci rice” and challenged Bryan to provide evidence to support his claims. As of now, Bryan has not responded to Jormiel, who is known for being different from his brother Rendon in terms of perspective.

Meanwhile, Bryanboy, whose real name is Bryan Grey Yambao, is a Filipino fashion blogger and socialite. He started blogging at the age of 24 from his parent’s home in Manila. He used to work as a web developer.

It was in 2007 when his eponymous blog won the Philippine Blog Award for Best Fashion & Lifestyle Blog. The New York Post named him one of the nine hottest internet celebrities, and news.com.au has called him “one of Fashion 2.0’s biggest superstars” and a “phenom in the fashion blogosphere”.
