Carla Abellana Appears as Guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Answers Questions about Divorce
CARLA ABELLANA – The Kapuso actress went emotional during the interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda.
Countless hearts were left broken and shocked by what happened to the relationship of Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez. The Kapuso stars separated just around three (3) months after they officially tied the knot.
It was last October 23, 2021 when Tom and Carla officially tied the knot in an intimate wedding that gathered their families and closest friends. Prior to him asking her hand for marriage, they were in a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship for 7 years.
Carla and Tom have also lived under the same roof amid the height of the pandemic and the strict lockdowns in the Philippines. The actor’s family is in abroad and she’s also living alone in her house so he kept her company.
Recently, during her appearance as a guest on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Carla Abellana expressed that there were a lot of reasons that caused her separation with Tom Rodriguez. She claimed that there was disrespect, lying, and there was “no change”.
Carla stressed her realization that time is never a measure in how well you know a person. Her perception in love and marriage changed but she is not closing her doors to falling in love again and getting married.
Tom filed a divorce decree abroad since he is an American citizen. If the decree will be recognized by Philippine courts. both of them will return to their single status. Carla expressed that she is happy over the move as they do not have to go through the usual process for the nullity of their marriage which would require them to spoke about each other’s dirty laundry.
At the end of her interview with Boy Abunda, Carla Abellana went emotional when the host asked her to complete the sentence, “I am Carla Abellana and…”. Here’s the response of the Kapuso actress:
“and I’m grateful for all the blessings, for what I have left, grateful for my life, my family, my bestfriends, my work… I’m grateful and I’m humbled,” the Kapuso actress said based on the YouTube vlog.
