Carla Abellana shared her side of the story
Kapuso actress Carla Abellana revealed the reason why she decided to end her relationship with actor Tom Rodriguez.
Fans and netizens were shocked when breakup rumors circulated involving Tom and Carla. That was because the speculations surfaced just a few months after they got married last October 2021.
Apparently, fans are anticipating a happy ending between them as they have been together for seven years before they tied the knot. However, marital issues arose between them.
In a reply to a netizen criticizing the liking spree that Carla did to comments against Tom, she revealed her side of the story. The actress shared that she was betrayed, disrespected, and lied to. She also said that Tom made her look so stupid.
Carla Abellana said that perhaps these can be forgiven but Tom Rodriguez, as she said, did bad things to her family and this is something that she could not allow to happen again.
“Pero para gawan pa po ako at ang pamilya ko ng mas marami pang kasamaan at kataksilan sa mga sumunod na araw, lingo at buwan, sobra sa sobra na poa and sakit,” the actress said.
Carla went on to say that she gave love and understanding to Tom but she did not receive what she deserves from him. The actress said that she was not allowed to be sad and frustrated for seven years. She also tried to make her husband understand that she is not the enemy because all she wants for him is to have the best.
Carla Abellana also said that she fought for Tom Rodriguez for more than seven years and liking the comments against him was nothing compared to what she has suffered. The actress also said that if she is a bad person, she could have sought revenge but she chose not to because she is not that kind of person.
