Sara Duterte Gives Advice to Cut The Number of Wedding Guests
Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte gives an advice to reduce the number of wedding guests under the new normal “Wag mag-imbita ng mga plastic”
The presidential daughter gives a helpful advice towards a netizen during her livestream segment for the Davao City Disaster Radio asking on what to do with her marriage license, which would expire soon.
The lady netizen is already married and wants to renew her vow with her husband but she is worried about the restriction of mass gathering under the general community quarantine. The guideline says religious gathering must not exceed more than 10 people.
Sara Duterte-Carpio also agreed and explained that the lady, her husband, two witnesses, the priest and an additional five guests would already reach the 1-person limit. However, some comments expressed their disbelief at the limited number of guests.
The city mayor also said not to invite people who are plastic so they could save more money during their wedding.
“Ayaw mo pag-imbita ug mga plastic na tao. Maka-save mo ug kwarta,” Sara said.
Carpio also suggested that the netizen could choose civil wedding for a smaller number of guests and attendees.
