Free PISTON 6 Fund Drive Expose by Xian Gaza
Self-proclaimed scammer Xian Gaza exposed on social media an alleged fundraising scam organized by PISTON to free the 6 previously convicted jeepney drivers.
Last June 2, 2020, six (6) jeepney drivers of PISTON were arrested for protesting amid community quarantine due to violation of social/physical distancing protocol.
Their arrest resulted in public outrage with some blasting the authorities for showing “no compassion.”
Meanwhile, scammer-turned-social media influencer Xian Gaza took to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he disclosed an alleged fundraising scam to free the then jailed drivers.
According to Xian Gaza, many tried to help the convicted jeepney drivers on the day of their arrest, particularly those who wanted to post the bail for them amounting to 18,000 as well as lawyers who promised to offer free legal services to help them be released.
Xian noted that a group of lawyers raised funds to post for their bail and just waiting a court resolution for bail-bond.
But Xian Gaza claimed that PISTON has taken advantage of the situation, citing the fund drive launched for the 6 jeepney drivers the following day.

However, Xian Gaza’s claim contradicts what PISTON has earlier explained for their fund drive.
PISTON eventually publicized that they were able to raise as much as 500,000 for the benefit of the family of the drivers.
PISTON also debunk rumors about their bank statement which will be exposed by an insider from BPI.
PISTON clarified that they are yet to divulge a bank statement due to system error.
