DARRYL YAP – The controversial director took to social media wherein he aired his frustration against a well-known airline company.
Yap is considered one of the most popular directors in the country today.
He rose to stardom when he launched the Facebook page, Vincentiments, which he created together with his colleague and friend Vincent Asis.
The Facebook page boomed and currently has over 5 million followers.
He is behind the hit movies and independent films such as #Jowable, Tililing and to name a few.

One of his hit projects is the controversial film, Maid in Malacañang, a movie about the last 72 hours of the Marcos family in the Palace.
Recently, he went to the social networking site, Facebook wherein he posted his rant against an airline company.
According to him, instead of getting sleep during their 50-minute trip, they were not able to do so because of the noisy crew of the said airline.
“Gusto ko lang malaman n’yo na hindi lang kami ng team ko ang walang tulog at gustong magpahinga kahit 50 mins lang ang flight mula Laoag hanggang Manila,” he said.
“Sa lakas ng mga bunganga n’yo magtsismisan, alam na namin ang mga pinagdaanan n’yo these past few days,” he added.
In the comment section of Darry Yap’s FB post, the said airline company (Philippine Airlines) apologized.
The incident generated mixed reactions from netizens and even from a former flight attendant.
“As a former f/a (with CX) kasama sa training at pre-flight briefings namin ang rules: tone down voice and avoid noise both in the galley and in the cabin, be it a long or a short flight,” the netizen said.
