Toni Talks is one of the pioneering shows that will air on ALLTV of AMBS, the television network of real-estate billionaire Manny Villar. It will air on Tuesday, September 13.

In its pilot episode on free TV, its first guest is no less than President Bongbong Marcos. It is the very first time he will have a one-on-one interview since he won the presidential election last May 9.

Among the questions raised by Toni to PBBM based on the teaser is about Martial Law and why he chose former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile to become his Chief Presidential Legal Counsel despite allegedly betraying his father, former President Ferdinand Marcos Sr.

Toni Gonzaga also asked the president the following questions: “Paano pabababain ang presyo ng bigas?”, “Babaguhin ba ang pangalan ng Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) at gagawing Manila International Airport?”, and “Papalitan ba ang mga textbooks sa paaralan?”

The president was also asked about the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN as well as the PHP230-B estate tax of the Marcos family.

This is not the first time Toni interviewed President Bongbong Marcos.

It can be recalled that it was in 2021 when he interviewed him on her YouTube channel, Toni Talks.

At the time, Toni was bashed for allegedly evading some of the important questions she was supposed to ask Marcos Jr.

Meanwhile, Toni and her husband director Paul Soriano have recently signed a contract on ALLTV.

Her last regular show with ABS-CBN was Pinoy Big Brother, wherein she became the main host from August 2005 until February 2022.
