Delivery Man Arrested After Threatening Blast at Quarantine Checkpoint
A delivery man has been arrested by the authorities over his Facebook comment allegedly threatening a blast at quarantine checkpoint.
A delivery personnel identified as Abram Jacob Vibar allegedly threatened to cause an explosion at the quarantine checkpoint in the City of Meycauayan in Bulacan. The guy considers the checkpoint as a disturbance on his delivery job.
Meycauayan Police Lt. Col Bernard Pagaduan said that the suspect frequently passes at the checkpoint and they allowed him to pass even without a home quarantine pass. Vibar is delivering tanks of liquified petroleum gas to his customers.
Unfortunately, the police authorities found the disturbing comment of Vibar on Facebook. The suspect wrote that he will give a free LPG tank to cause an explosion at the quarantine checkpoint.
The cops immediately arrested the suspect for his disturbing comment and it is considered as a threat to the security of the Philippine National Police.
However, Vibar explained that it was only a joke and he did not expect that his comment would lead to his arrest. He also apologized to the authorities for his irresponsible action on social media.
Abram is currently detained at Meycauyan City Custodial Facility for violating RA 10175 Sec. 6 and disobedience to authority.
