Here’s the SRP for school supplies as of today
DTI – The Department of Trade and Industry has released the suggested retail price (SRP) for school supplies as of August 12, 2022.
Last month, the Department of Education (DepEd) announced that the opening of classes for the school year 2022-2023 will be on August 22, 2022.
In a DepEd order, the education department mandated that the school year will be composed of 203 school days with the opening of the school year on August 22 and the last day on July 7, 2023.
The enrollment for the next academic year started on July 25.
In line with this, the Department of Trade and Industry released a suggested retail price for school supplies.
Based on the latest bulletin issued by the agency on Friday, August 12, the SRP covers notebooks, pad paper, pencils, ballpen, erasers, crayons, and to name a few.

Meanwhile, DepEd is already planning phases to get to full face-to-face classes across the nation. The education department previously confirmed that it is eyeing having full face-to-face classes in the country by November.
Most elementary and secondary students in the Philippines are on blended learning for more than two (2) years now. Instead of the usual face-to-face classes, blended learning was adopted in schools. The delivery of lessons or classroom instructions took place through online classes or modules – whichever best works for a student.
