Update on DepEd Opening Date for School Year 2022-2023

DEPED – The Department of Education announced the opening date for the upcoming school year 2022-2023.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Department of Education continued with the classes of elementary and secondary students. There were changes implemented for the safety of the students.

Instead of the usual face-to-face classes, blended learning was adopted in schools. The delivery of lessons or classroom instructions took place through online classes or modules – whichever best works for a student.

Most elementary and secondary students in the Philippines are on blended learning for more than two (2) years now. Meanwhile, DepEd is already planning phases to get to full face-to-face classes across the nation.
