Claudine Barretto Stands by Jojo Mendrez in His Fight Against Mark Herras

CLAUDINE BARRETTO – The actress reached out to her friend, Jojo Mendrez, to offer support after he filed a case against actor Mark Herras for grave threats.

Jojo, the “Revival King” and Star Music artist, took legal action after what he described as disturbing behavior from Herras. He personally filed the complaint at the Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office, accompanied by his talent managers and actor Rainier Castillo. Jojo chose not to elaborate on the specific events involving Mark but expressed that he would leave it up to the court to decide the outcome.

In response to the situation, Claudine posted a heartfelt video message for Jojo, expressing her concern and support. She mentioned that despite her attempts to reach him, she only learned about the issue through news and had been trying to contact him ever since. Claudine reassured Jojo not to be afraid, reminding him that he is surrounded by people who love and support him.

She emphasized that she was there for him and would stand by him as a friend and sister. She also advised him to be cautious of people who might take advantage of him and assured him that, no matter what, he should not allow anyone to misuse or mistreat him.

Jojo’s complaints against Mark include instances where the latter allegedly left him stranded during work commitments and threatened to burn his house if he was excluded from future projects. Despite these challenges, Jojo continues to focus on his career. He is promoting his debut original single, “Nandito Lang Ako,” composed by Jonathan Manalo, and his revival hit, “Somewhere In My Past.” He is also working on covering three classic OPM songs: “I Love You, Boy” by Timmy Cruz, “Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako” by Michael Pangilinan, and “Tamis Ng Unang Halik” by Tina Paner. Jojo’s fans can also look forward to future collaborations with well-known OPM artists.
