A wife brings laughter online after her beloved husband allegedly asked for the change from her purchase.
Recently, Diane Faraon, a Facebook user, shared a humorous incident where her husband reportedly asked for change from a purchase that was meant for something else. The post quickly went viral and garnered various reactions from people online.
It all started when Diane sent her husband P1,500 to buy something for her, knowing that the items she wanted would cost less than P700. She intentionally gave him extra money, joking that if he saw something he liked, he could buy it, but if not, he should just return the change.
When her husband returned home, he had bought something worth P695, leaving P805 in change. Diane, expecting the extra money back, asked him where the change was.
Her husband’s response left her in shock. He said that, just as she had suggested, he saw something he liked and it was the change itself! Instead of buying something for himself, he decided the excess money was a better “find.”
Diane was left laughing but also feeling a bit “cheated” by her husband’s quick thinking.
Many people found it amusing how the husband cleverly took advantage of the situation, even though it left the wife feeling like she was outsmarted.
