According to Ocampo, the flavor of the fries from a well-known food franchise has altered, leading to her dissatisfaction.
Ocampo mentioned that she first noticed the change in flavor after buying the fries, which seemed different from what she remembered. Initially thinking it might have been a one-time issue, she decided to give the fries another try.
Unfortunately, she found that the taste had not improved. For over 20 years, Ocampo has been a loyal customer of Potato Corner, a brand known for its distinctive fries. However, she now feels that the quality has declined.
She suggested that for those who are also unhappy with the new taste, it might be better to opt for more affordable alternatives like SM Bonus or Dali fries, which are priced under P200 per kilo.
Additionally, she mentioned that buying fry seasoning from Puregold or online could be a cost-effective solution for those who enjoy making fries at home.
Despite her disappointment, Ocampo acknowledged that if people prefer convenience over cooking at home, they might still choose Potato Corner. She expressed her hope that the brand would consider reverting to their original recipe, which had been a favorite for many years.

For over more than 2 decades na solid Potato Corner girl ako, I therefore conclude na mas okay ng bumili nalang ng SM Bonus, Dali or kung ano pang mura na fries na less than 200 isang kilo na tapos ung powder sa puregold na nabibili ko or bili nalang kayo online. Pero kung may panahong tamad kayo magluto at mag effort, go for Potato Corner kung gusto nyo. Nakakahinayang at nakakalungkot lang na ung always same na matagal ng lasa, nagbago na Sana ibalik nila sa dati.”
