Rosmar Tan is Said to Have Been ‘Unlucky’ When She Got Close to Rendon Labador
ROSMAR TAN – The entrepreneur and social media personality faced criticism after becoming associated with fellow social media personality Rendon Labador.
In a recent vlog by showbiz insider Ogie Diaz, Rosmar shared the backlash she received for her closeness to Rendon, despite being married. She recounted receiving comments questioning her decision to be close to him, suggesting that her reputation and brand were affected negatively. Despite this, Rosmar and her husband have discussed the situation, with her husband acknowledging Rendon’s kindness based on their personal interactions.
“Kahit ang nangyayari, naba-bash ako, naaapektuhan ‘yong brand ko, naba-bash ako ng tao. ‘Ba’t ka kasi dumikit diyan? Dapat ‘di ka dumikit diyan. Okay ka naman no’ng wala ‘yan, e.’ Puro gano’n po ‘yong nababasa ko,” she said.
She added: “Pero kaming mag-asawa, pinag-uusapan namin. Sabi nga sa akin ng asawa ko: ‘mabait naman si Kuya Rendon kasi tayo ‘yong totoong nakakakilala, e. Parang ako lang din po kasi ‘yan, e. Mapang-asar pero deep inside ‘pag tiningnan mo ‘yong puso, mabait na tao.”
Rosmar expressed that amidst the criticism, she continues to support small businesses and promote brands without expecting anything in return. She noted that during times of adversity, only a few reached out to comfort her, highlighting the challenges she faced in the public eye.
In contrast, Rendon faced controversy in Palawan where he was declared persona non grata following a heated altercation with a female municipal employee in Coron. Despite this, Rendon expressed no regrets about his actions in the province.
