SISI RONDINA – The volleyball player apologized after receiving criticism from fans of the boy band for her statement at an event where she said she was not familiar with SB19 and only knew Starbucks.

Sisi Rondina is a volleyball player known for her exceptional skills and athleticism on the court. She gained recognition for her performances in both indoor and beach volleyball competitions. Rondina played collegiate volleyball for the University of Santo Tomas (UST) Golden Tigresses in the UAAP (University Athletic Association of the Philippines) league, where she became one of the most celebrated players in the history of Philippine collegiate volleyball. She has also represented the Philippines in international volleyball tournaments, showcasing her talent on the global stage.

SB19, on the other hand, is a Filipino boy band formed in 2018. Comprising members Pablo, Josh, Stell, Ken, and Justin, SB19 has made waves in the music industry with their catchy pop tunes, impressive choreography, and strong social media presence. They are recognized for their contributions to contemporary Pinoy pop music and have garnered a large following, both locally and internationally. SB19’s journey to stardom includes viral hits, chart-topping singles, and groundbreaking achievements, such as being the first Southeast Asian act nominated at the Billboard Music Awards.

Recently, Sisi Rondina received criticism from fans of the boy band after stating that she was not familiar with SB19 and only knew Starbucks. Due to the comments she has been receiving, she decided to issue an apology.

“Personally hindi ko talaga sila [kilala]. ‘Di ko alam, ba? And then tinanong ako, ‘Sino pinakahinihintay mo dito?’ And then sabi nila, ‘SB19’. ‘Ay, hindi ko kilala ‘yon, Starbucks lang ang alam ko.’ Sa lahat po ng na-offend, sorry po talaga. Hindi ko po intensyon ‘yon,” Sisi Rondina said.
