TARAGIS TATTOO ISSUE – A social media user expressed doubt regarding a prank pulled by a Takoyaki shop on April Fool’s Day, which garnered significant online attention.

Recalling the incident, Ramil Albano adorned the Taragis Takoyaki Shop logo on his forehead, under the belief that the establishment was genuinely offering a reward of P100,000 for anyone completing the challenge.

After a few hours, Taragis clarified that it was merely a prank and initially declined to fulfill the promised reward to Albano. Eventually, Taragis decided to honor the pledge and awarded the money to Albano, who mentioned he would use it to support his son with Down Syndrome.

However, some online users expressed skepticism regarding the authenticity of the story. Certain individuals in the artistic community doubted the claim that the logo on Albano’s forehead should not heal in just a few days.

Additionally, a netizen shared a video displaying Taragis owner, Carl Quion, interacting with Albano in an older video they had uploaded. Infamous social media personality, Xian Gaza, also posted a snapshot of their interaction with the caption: “magkakilala pala an’dami niyong pinadalang tulong hahaha.”

Earlier, Xian Gaza claimed that the tattoo issue is scripted. In a Facebook post, he noted: “Hindi fresh yung tattoo sa noo, it means matagal na o henna lang. Hindi rin marunong umarte si Kuya. Halatang scripted. Publicity stunt lamang. Gigil na gigil pa man din kayo. Hahaha! Sayang yung galit niyo mga tanga.”

Despite doubts about the veracity of Albano’s account, many expressed gratitude that the outcome would benefit his son’s special needs. In fact, he will be receiving financial aid and free services from the following: P100,000 from Project Glow Up, P10,000 from Boss Philippines, P5,000 from Micchiatos Coffee, P1000 from PONG’s Buffalo, free services forever from Boss Suave Barbershop, an iPhone from GppPower GadgetShop, P5000 from Cartel Studio, P10,000 from ChizMozza, and cash and food from 3S Siblings Food House.
