Tahanang Pinakamasaya Fan Urges It’s Showtime to Hire Paolo, Buboy, Yorme, and Betong

Hire Paolo, Buboy, Yorme, and Betong; Pleads Tahanang Pinakamasaya Fan

MEPABEBU – The self-proclaimed number one fan of Tahanang Pinakamasaya appealed to the management of It’s Showtime to consider hiring Paolo Contis, Isko Moreno, Buboy Villar, and Betong Sumaya.

BES Phil 2, a content creator, shared a photo of the four hosts from the now-defunct ‘Tahanang Pinakasaya’ along with the It’s Showtime logo on Facebook, asserting that they deserved a place on the Kapamilya noontime show.

“Panawagan ng bayan, #MePaBeBu ilagay sa #ItsShowtime tuwing sabado. Dasurb ng Mepabebu o mas kilala sa kanilang pangalan, Yorme, Paolo,Betong, Buboy, na maging bahagi ng Its showtime lahit tuwing sabado,” BES Phil 2 noted. “Excited na po ang lahat dahil ang Sikat na sikat na TP host at indemand host ng bansa ang Quadruple ay madala ang kanilang legacy sa Its Showtime. Congratulations,” they added.

The post urged for the inclusion of #MePaBeBu on #ItsShowtime every Saturday. The end of Tahanang Pinakamasaya marked a shift to It’s Showtime, intensifying the competition with TV5’s Eat Bulaga.

Paolo, one of the affected hosts, expressed openness to working with It’s Showtime hosts in the future, emphasizing his friendships with many of them, including Ogie Alcasid, Vice Ganda, and Vhong Navarro. He stated a willingness to collaborate with them openly.

“Lahat, kaibigan ko naman sila eh. Kaibigan ko karamihan sa kanila. Si Ogie [Alcasid], si Vice [Ganda], I’m very close to Vhong [Navarro],” said Paolo. “Lahat naman ‘yan, very open tayo,” he added.

“Tahanang Pinakamasaya!” was a variety show aired on weekdays and Saturdays, rebranded from “Eat Bulaga!” due to a trademark dispute. The dispute stemmed from an internal conflict within Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc.’s management, resulting in the resignation of hosts and production members from “Eat Bulaga!”

The show resumed with new hosts and segments after the dispute was resolved. However, due to low ratings, it ended effectively on March 8, 2024. TAPE Inc. noted that despite their best efforts to save the show, they have reached a mutual agreement to finally call off the show.
