SHARON CUNETA – Megastar Sharon Cuneta said that she and her husband Kiko Pangilinan bonded by watching the hit K-drama ‘Queen of Tears.’
“Queen of Tears” currently stands as the top-ranking K-drama on Netflix, maintaining a consistent presence in the Top 10 TV charts in the Philippines for five consecutive weeks and achieving strong ratings in TV charts across 40 other countries.
Additionally, it has surpassed “Goblin” to secure the second-highest rating among romance dramas aired on the South Korean TV network tvN, boasting an impressive nationwide average rating of 20.7%. However, “Crash Landing on You” remains the frontrunner in terms of popularity.
Starring Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won, “Queen of Tears” narrates the story of Hong Hae In, a third-generation chaebol heiress of Queens Group, and her husband Baek Hyun Woo, who serves as a lawyer and the company’s legal director. The series delves into the complexities of their troubled marriage, which teeters on the brink of divorce.
The final episode of “Queen of Tears” is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on April 28th.
