NANCY MCDONIE – The member of the South Korean girl group Momoland is rumored to be the latest GMA Sparkle Artist.
Nancy Jewel McDonie is a Korean-American singer, actress, and host. She rose to fame as a member of the South Korean girl group Momoland, formed through Mnet’s reality survival show, Finding Momoland, in 2016. She began her career in the entertainment industry under the name Karen Salas but transitioned to the sexy genre and adopted the name Sabrina M.
Nancy’s upbringing was influenced by her mixed heritage, with her father being from Columbus, Ohio, and her mother being Korean. She attended Hanlim Multi Art School, majoring in the Musical Department, graduating in 2018.
Before her debut with Momoland, Nancy participated in various television programs and talent competitions, including Korea’s Got Talent as part of the group “Cutie Pies” in 2011. Her success in Finding Momoland led to Momoland’s debut in 2016.
Throughout her career with Momoland, Nancy gained recognition for her talent and versatility, not only as a singer but also as an actress and host. Recently, Sparkle GMA Artist Center posted a glimpse of a K-pop idol joining its roster of powerhouse and diverse talents. According to them, the artist came from Korea. This gives a hint to some netizens that it might be Nancy McDonie, a member of Momoland.
