Mata of Team Tambay is allegedly suffering from a rare genetic condition, according to his beloved partner.
Mary Joy DeJesus Beldia, a Facebook user, shared the current condition of content creator Mata, from Team Tambay. The post immediately spread like wildfire on social media and elicited reactions from the online community.
Beldia, Mata’s partner shared that the social media influencer has been diagnosed with ‘Leukodystrophy’, a rare genetic condition that even doctors cannot cure. Currently, no treatment or medicine can heal him.
The lady netizen revealed that her partner ended up with a rare genetic disorder that he may have inherited from his parents or simply due to his genes not developing properly. She made such a post to inform the public, so they won’t be surprised when he stutters, loses balance, or sometimes can’t remember people.
Mata may look normal in photos, but in person, he struggles to move, and even holding a spoon and fork can be difficult for him. Beldia, his partner, witnessed the internet sensation’s struggles every day.
The influencer wants to get better, he wants to move normally again, and he wants to do the things he used to do, but no matter what he does, his condition slowly consumes him.
The woman urged the public to forgive Mata if he stuttered and understood him since he was trying his best to speak. She expressed her gratitude to everyone for trying to understand the influencer.

ito si Mata, siya ay na diagnosed ng LEUKODYSTROPHY isang pang bihirang sakit na kahit mismong doctor hindi kayang malunasan. Opo, wala pong lunas o ano mang gamot na makakapagpagaling sa kanya. Sa mga nagtatanong bakit nagkaganito itong partner ko, rare genetic disorder po ito maaaring namana niya sa magulang niya o sadyang hindi lang na-develop ng maayos ang kanyang genes. Bakit ko ito sinasabi? Para hindi na po kayo magtaka kung bakit siya nabubulol, walang balanse o kung minsan hindi niya kayo tanda. Muka lang siyang normal sa mga pictures na ito pero sa personal po hirap po siya kumilos at kahit pag hawak ng kutsara at tinidor nabibitawan niya po. Ako ang partner , ako ang araw araw niyang nkakasama at ako ang araw araw nakakakita ng mga struggle niya. Gustong gusto niya nang gumaling, gusto nya ng makakilos ulit ng normal , gusto nya nang magawa yung mga dati nyang gawain pero kahit anong gawin niya onti onti syang kinakain ng sakit niya.
