  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 lb. hot breakfast sausage
  • 1 package (10 ounce) lasagna noodles
  • 2 cans (14.5 ounce) whole tomatoes
  • 1 lb. sliced mozzarella cheese
  • 2 whole beaten eggs
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp. dried parsley
  • 2 cans (6 ounce) tomato paste
  • 1/2 c. grated (not shredded) Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp. dried basil
  • 3 c. lowfat cottage cheese
  • 1 tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 1/2 tsp. salt

The next part of the Lasagna recipe is the cooking process. The cooking time may take 30 minutes aside from the final step which you have options. Here is a guide on how to cook Lasagna:

In a medium bowl, add the beaten eggs, cottage cheese, two (2) tablespoons of parsley, grated Parmesan cheesem and one (1) teaspoon of salt. Make sure to mix them well by stirring.

In a pot, boil water and add 1/2 teaspoon salt and olive oil. Add the lasagna pasta but make sure not to overcook it. Afterwards, drain the pasta.

Arrange four (4) cooked lasagna noodles in the bottom of a baking pan. It is best to have them overlapping. Add half of the cottage cheese mixture over the pasta and spread it evenly.
