SARAH GERONIMO – The Popstar Royalty took to the social networking site Facebook, where she reacted to the killing of a golden retriever named Killua.
The news of a golden retriever named Killua being killed and placed inside a sack has stirred outrage, with the hashtag “Justice for Killua” trending on social media. The dog was allegedly attacked by a neighbor, Anthony Solares, who claimed he was defending his child from a perceived threat.
However, Killua’s owner, Vina Rachelle, disputed this, stating that Killua likely fell from their gate and was not intentionally aggressive. Solares placed the dog in a sack after killing it. He defended his actions on social media but later expressed remorse.
Among those deeply saddened by the killing of Killua is none other than the Popstar Royalty Sarah Geronimo. In a Facebook post, the actress-singer expressed her sadness and dismay about the killing of the poor dog. According to her, Killua had no chance to defend itself, and similar to humans, dogs also experience fear and pain.
Sarah believes that every life deserves respect and protection. She stressed that it’s time to demand accountability and raise voices against animal cruelty. Then, Sarah urges everyone to unite in being the voice for the voiceless. In the last part of her post, she vowed to fight for Killua.
