Paolo Contis: “Walang dahilan para magtampo ako sa GMA”
PAOLO CONTIS – The actor-television host emphasized that he holds nothing but gratitude towards GMA Network, dismissing rumors suggesting any hard feelings following the conclusion of his noontime show “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.”
Paolo addressed these rumors during his 40th birthday celebration at the launch of GMA’s campaign “Basta’t Sama-Sama… Best Time Ever,” which was featured on the network’s Instagram page on Friday, March 15.
“Wala po akong wish,” he said after he was asked to make a birthday wish. “Nais ko lang pong magpasalamat sa inyo, sa suporta ng GMA 7 sa akin. I wanna thank GMA for always supporting me, for always supporting the show,” he expressed after being prompted to make a birthday wish.
He also addressed rumors circulating about his alleged negative feelings toward GMA, stating, “May kumalat po na may tampo ako sa GMA, hindi po ‘yon totoo. Pero pagbigyan na po natin ‘yung mga nagkakalat no’n. Content po nila ‘yon, para po sa kanila ‘yon pero it’s not true.”
Contis reiterated his appreciation for GMA, highlighting their unwavering support even during challenging times. “I love GMA and I’m very thankful to GMA. They’ve been supporting me during the time na kahit hindi ako kasupo-suporta,” he emphasized. “So walang dahilan para magtampo ako sa GMA.”
“Tahanang Pinakamasaya” aired its final live episode on March 3, followed by replay episodes until March 7. Alongside Contis, the show was hosted by various celebrities including Isko Moreno, Buboy Villar, Cassy and Mavy Legaspi, Betong Sumaya, Glaiza de Castro, Kokoy de Santos, Dasuri Choi, and Winwyn Marquez, among others.
