Meet Ms. Yelo of Isabela, a 21-year-old ice vendor who earns P80,000 to P90,000 per month from her simple business.
Recently, the young entrepreneur hailed as Ms. Yelo has been making waves by selling ice, turning a simple business idea into a lucrative venture that earns her between P80,000 to P90,000 per month.
Ms. Yelo’s starts to sell ice because of their small eatery. Instead of buying from others, the young lady decided to make their own. Initially, they borrowed a freezer from her uncle, but soon, their homemade ice became a hit.
People started to buy ice from them, one by one. The family gained regular customers and gets surprised by the overwhelming response to their product. Eventually, they even began supplying to local markets and wholesale outlets.
“Dati, hiniram lang namin ‘yung freezer sa Tito ko, May mga paisa-isang bumibili sa amin, Hanggang sa dumami sila nang dumami!,” she said.
Their daily sales skyrocketed, with Ms. Yelo delivering anywhere from 350 to 500 pieces of ice per day. The consistent demand continued resulting into huge earnings, averaging between P65,000 to P90,000 monthly.
“Kada buwan, nasa 65,000 pesos hanggang 90,000 pesos ang kinikita namin,” she added.
The success of her ice-selling business not only transformed their financial situation but also uplifted her family’s quality of life. Because of their ice business, her siblings can go to school and buy what they want.
The lady vendor’s family no longer go hungry because they can afford groceries every week.
