Leren Mae Bautista Jokes About Five-year Age Gap With Beau Ricci Rivero
LEREN MAE BAUTISTA – Miss Philippines Globe 2019 and Los Baños, Laguna Councilor Leren Mae Bautista poked fun at the 5-year gap with boyfriend Ricci Rivero.
Miss Philippines Globe 2019 and Councilor of Los Baños, Laguna, Leren Mae Bautista, aged 30, playfully responds to netizens who persist in questioning the age gap between her and her partner, Ricci Rivero, aged 25.
In her recent Instagram post on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, she shared a photo and video of Ricci playing basketball at the recent PBA All-Star Game.
Leren Mae Bautista expressed her pride in Ricci’s achievement in his debut appearance at the all-star game as a newcomer to the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). In her caption, she congratulated him on his performance and expressed their collective pride.
“Congratulations on your first PBA All Star Game my love @ricciiirivero. You being the only rookie who played during the All Star Game was something else! We are so proud of you. From your Nanay, Tita and Ante all in one,” she wrote.

Despite the five-year age difference between Ricci and Leren, the couple stated that it did not affect their relationship or affection for one another, as they shared in their interview on Fast Talk With Boy Abunda on February 16, 2024. Leren mentioned that despite being older by five years, they have a strong understanding of each other, with Ricci often displaying a level of maturity beyond his years.
She humorously recounted instances where people referred to her as Ricci’s aunt, to which she responded by saying she’s just his older sister.
She said, “Sobrang nagkakaintindihan din naman kami.
“Ang level of maturity ni Ricci, parang sabi ko nga, parang mas mature pa siya sa akin pero ako yung mas matanda.”
Leren joked, “Natatawa lang ako minsan kasi kapag sinasabi nilang tita daw po ako ni Ricci, sabi ko, ‘Ate lang.’”
