Kim Rodriguez Speaks Out VS Affair Rumors W/ Marc Pingris
KIM RODRIGUEZ – Actress Kim Rodriguez finally broke her silence on an alleged affair with former PBA star Marc Pingris.
On Thursday, March 28th, Pingris refuted speculations connecting him with ABS-CBN actress Kim Rodriguez. Through a statement on his social media platforms, Pingris clarified that the rumors about him and Ms. Kim Rodriguez are baseless.
Pingris stressed that there is no romantic relationship between them, contrary to what others may believe.
As a distinguished member of the 40 Greatest PBA Players and a former stalwart of Gilas Pilipinas, Marc Pingris remains actively involved in the Pilipinas Super League, where he currently competes for Biñan Tatak Gel Beast. He participates in domestic exhibition matches alongside his team and also represents internationally with PBA Motoclub, comprising former PBA players.
Pingris specified that he encountered Ms. Kim at a basketball event and another function where she served as their team muse.
Kim Rodriguez has finally addressed the cheating allegations involving her and Marc Pingris, breaking her silence through statements shared by her manager, Ogie Diaz, in a vlog. Regarding the photos taken at a fries stand, Ogie relayed Kim’s explanation, stating, “Nagpunta po ako diyan, nag-stopover po ako diyan kasi papunta ako ng Subic kasama ang mga kaibigan ko. ‘Yung kay Marc Pingris po, hindi ko alam kung kailan ‘yun.”
Kim further emphasized, “Kahit itanong niyo pa po diyan sa girl na ‘yan kung magkasama kami ni Marc Pingris or pareho niya kaming nakita on that same time, I’m sure alam niya ‘yung totoo.”
Discussing the photos taken in Australia, Kim clarified that she was on vacation there with two friends, noting that it’s a popular tourist spot where visitors commonly take photos.
“Sabi sa ‘kin ni Kim, ‘anong pakealam ko kung may picture doon si Marc Pingris sa Opera House, eh ako din merong picture?’” Ogie said.
Ogie, acting as Kim’s manager, expressed his preference for her to ignore the rumors as long as they’re untrue. “For as long as hindi totoo, ‘wag niyang pansinin,” he said. “Eh kaya lang as a vlogger at ako po ay inaasahan ninyo, kailangan ko pong magsalita rito.”
Ogie added that despite being Kim’s manager, creating the vlog isn’t about boosting her image but rather about sharing her perspective.
