Cristine Reyes on 6-Year Age Difference W/ Boyfriend Marco Gumabao
CRISTINE REYES – Actress Cristine Reyes talked about the age gap between her and her beau Marco Gumabao.
It’s been almost a year since Cristine Reyes and Marco Gumabao revealed their relationship to the public. For those unaware, there’s a six-year age difference between them, with Cristine at 35 and Marco turning 30 this year.
In a recent vlog hosted by Luis Manzano, Cristine opened up about her contemplation regarding their age gap before fully committing to their relationship. She pointed out the evident variations in maturity levels between them, underlining the typical contrast in maturity rates between genders.
Reflecting on the origin of their relationship in the same vlog, Cristine Reyes recounted how it initially began innocently with shared workouts, initially assuming it was merely a friendly activity, especially since they were accompanied by Jake Cuenca. However, circumstances led to them spending more time together, ultimately resulting in the development of deeper emotions.
“Akala ko barkadahan lang ‘yun kasi we were with Jake Cuenca pa noon,” Cristine said. “Then, all of a sudden, si Jake napunta na sa Cebu kasi nag-t-taping.”
“Naiwan kaming dalawa ni Marco, so instead na ma-workout ‘yung physical health namin, na-workout ‘yung feelings namin,” she added.
Furthermore, Cristine Reyes praised Marco Gumabao’s commendable qualities, particularly his strong commitment to family values and faith, which she values the most about him.
Their relationship was unveiled on Instagram in April 2023, and they further elaborated on their journey together in a vlog featuring Bea Alonzo.
In February, Cristine also revealed that she and her former husband, Ali Khatibi, have been officially separated for over a year. They share a daughter named Amarah.
