Boss Toyo is Interested in Manny Pacquiao’s Shoes
MANNY PACQUIAO – The 8-Division World Champion agreed to sell his shoes to Boss Toyo as long as they spar first.
Boss Toyo, whose real name is Jayson Luzadas, is known as the main buyer and one of the personalities featured in the Filipino reality TV show “Pinoy Pawn Stars.” In the show, he assesses and negotiates deals for various items brought in by sellers looking to pawn or sell their belongings. He gained popularity for his shrewd bargaining skills and his interactions with sellers on the show.
To recall, it was just recently when Boss Toyo bought the necklace used by Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera in her iconic role as “Dyesebel,” which aired on GMA Network in 2008. The sellers initially priced it at ₱40,000, but Jayson Luzadas refused. They bargained until they settled at ₱20,000. Boss Toyo’s final offer was ₱17,500, which the sellers eventually accepted.
Aside from the necklace, he also bought the coffin used by Dingdong Dantes in the highest-grossing Filipino film of all time, “Rewind,” which is one of the official entries of the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024. The casket was sold to the antique collector for a whopping two hundred fifty thousand pesos (P250K).
Recently, the content creator and antique collector shared a video on Facebook asking Manny Pacquiao about the cost of his shoes, which were a gift from Vaness Wu, a Taiwanese-American singer-actor and a member of F4 of Meteor Garden.
In response, Manny jokingly asked if Boss Toyo liked the shoes because they would match his planned museum. Manny agreed to buy the shoes but they should spar first. However, the man behind Pinay Pawnstars declined. Additionally, he inquired about the price of Manny’s boxing belts.
