Anne Curtis Reacts to Resort in the Middle of Chocolate Hills

Here’s the reaction of Anne Curtis to the resort in the middle of Chocolate Hills

ANNE CURTIS – The Kapamilya actress-host took to the microblogging site X, where she reacted to the resort in the middle of Chocolate Hills in Bohol.

The newly built resort within the famous ‘Chocolate Hills’ in the Philippines caught attention on social media because people were worried it might harm the natural beauty of the area. Critics questioned its legality and its impact on the environment.

Online users raised concerns with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) and the local government of Bohol to check if the resort had the right permits. DENR ordered the resort to close temporarily because it didn’t have proper authorization.

On the other hand, the resort announced a temporary closure for upkeep and environmental care, promising to use eco-friendly methods. They apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate guests’ support for their efforts to be sustainable.

On X (formerly known as Twitter), the Kapamilya actress-host shared her reaction regarding the resort located within the vicinity of the famous tourist attraction. “Is this true kaya? Sad naman if they are allowing this so close to the beautiful natural wonders of our country,” she noted.

The It’s Showtime host was replying to a video posted on the said platform questioning how authorization was granted for the construction of a resort amid the Chocolate Hills. Concerns arise regarding potential disruptions to the ecosystem and risks of soil erosion, potentially damaging the nearby hill formations.

“Paano pinayagan magpatayo ng isang resort sa gitna ng Chocolate Hills sa Bohol? Hindi ba ma-didisturb ang ecosystem ng paligid? Pwedeng magkaroon ng mga soil erosion and baka masira ang mga hill formations within the vicinity of the resort?” the Twitter user wrote.

In another post, Anne Curtis reacted to the sentiment of Senator Nancy Binay regarding the construction of the resort in the middle of the protected area.
