Ria Atayde is pregnant?
RIA ATAYDE – Netizens suspect that the actress is the subject of a blind item circulating on X.
In an episode of “Showbiz Update” on Thursday, February 22, showbiz insider Ogie Diaz discussed a blind item allegedly revolving around an actress who got pregnant by an actor. The mentioned actress has a sibling and a mother who are also artists.
Mama Loi then asked, ” Ria kaya ‘yon?” To which Ogie replied: “Well, maraming nagtuturo doon sa mga comment section. Puro si Ria ang tinuturo dahil nga nag-announce sila ng engagement,” said Ogie.
Ria is the daughter of veteran actress Sylvia Sanchez and the sister of award-winning actor Arjo Atayde.
“So alam mo, kung sakali man na ito ay totoo, hindi naman tayo para magtaka pa. Una, babae ‘yan […] At saka nasa edad na si Ria. Hindi na sila mga minor para ipaalala pa sa kanila ang mga pros and cons ng pag-aasawa at pagbubuntis.” Ogie added, “Kung sakali mang totoo, bakit tayo mag-a-announce? Hayaan natin sila ang mag-announce no’n kung sakaling totoo na. Ibigay natin ‘yong moment na ‘yon.”
It’s worth noting that it was on February 23 when the couple shared the news of their engagement on Instagram through a joint post, which featured a series of photos, including one showcasing the engagement ring on Ria’s finger. In the caption, they expressed their excitement for the future together with the words “Forever sounds good,” along with a white heart and ring emoji.
Numerous fellow celebrities extended their congratulations in the comments section, with Iya Villania writing, “Aww congrats you guys,” and Gary Valenciano adding, “OMG!! My heartfelt congratulations go out to both of you! God bless you.”
Zanjoe officially confirmed their relationship in January of the previous year, following dating rumors that emerged in August 2022 when they were spotted dining with friends in New York. Ria is the younger sister of actor and Quezon City 1st District Representative Arjo Atayde, who is married to actress Maine Mendoza.
