Carla Abellana speaks up after being criticized for the pre-loved items she’s selling
CARLA ABELLANA – The actress responded to critics who questioned the pricing of the secondhand items she’s selling online, suggesting that their quality doesn’t justify the cost.
During an interview with GMA’s 24 Oras, the actress defended her pricing strategy, emphasizing that she sometimes sells items for less than what she originally paid for them, taking into account their condition.
“‘Di ‘yun totoo, grabe kayo. I would sell something na much less naman than how much I got it for, ‘di ba? Lalo na ‘yung condition niya, depende din doon,” she explained. She further added, “Well, choice naman nila ‘yun if they’re interested or if they want to buy or not.”
Carla recently attracted attention on social media when she announced that she had “added more items and reduced their prices” on her online store, “Carla Angeline Closet.”
Some social media users criticized the prices of the items featured on her Instagram page, claiming that they don’t align with their current condition and quality. The items include Casadei peep toe heels, a Longchamp bag, Hermes sandals, a Michael Kors purse, and Gucci sneakers. However, there were also users who defended her.
