It is a pasta dish made with hard cheese, cured pork, and some cream of mushroom sauce. There are different variations of cheese that can be used in cooking including the pecorino romano, the parmesan, and the grada padano cheese.

What are the ingredients in cooking this pasta dish? Of course, the first part of this carbonara recipe is the ingredients that you must prepare. Here are the ingredients in cooking the pasta dish for four (4) people:

  • 300 grams spaghetti pasta
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 12 strips bacon, cut into ½ cm slices
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup button mushrooms or enoki mushroom
  • 1 (68g) pack Knorr Cream of Mushroom dissolved in 3 cups water
  • 1 cup all purpose cream
  • grated Parmesan Cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
