Appointed Son of God Pastor Apollo Quiboloy Should Abide by the Law – Solon

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, the Appointed Son of God, should abide by the law, according to a solon

PASTOR APOLLO QUIBOLOY – Even the self-proclaimed appointed son of God and the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ Church should abide by the law.

This was stated by House Deputy Majority Leader and Tingog party-list Rep. Jude Acidre during a press conference when asked what would happen if Quiboloy continued to not attend the hearings of the House of Representatives despite being issued a subpoena.

“On the House we will implement the law. If he does not appear then we will be constrained to executive the subpoena and make sure that he is here to answer the questions and issues raised against him,” Acidre said. “Now I don’t think being an ‘appointed son of God’ puts you above the law and I’m sure no one is above the law,” the congressman emphasized.

Acidre believes that Quiboloy knows what he is doing. “Believe me, he is a pastor. He commands a good number of people around the world. He knows what he is doing. He knows that he is clearly defying the law. He knows he is injuring the political system that we have in place. He is disrespecting the authorities and I think he will be made accountable on that at the right time,” he added.

Meanwhile, Apollo Carreon Quiboloy is a pastor and the founder of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KJC), a Restorationist church based in the Philippines. He established the KJC in 1985 after previously being a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Quiboloy claims to be the “Appointed Son of God” and “Owner of the Universe.”

Quiboloy has faced numerous controversies, including allegations of misconduct and human trafficking. In November 2021, he was indicted by the United States Department of Justice on charges of coercing girls and young women into relationships with him and running a trafficking operation. These allegations involve victims as young as twelve years old and are linked to a fraudulent charity called “Children’s Joy.” Additionally, the US Department of Treasury and Department of State imposed sanctions on Quiboloy in December 2022 for gross human rights abuses and corruption.
