Patrick Sugui: “I can assure you guys, my wife has nothing to do with this.”
PATRICK SUGUI – The actor denied the involvement of his wife Aeriel Garcia in the controversial breakup of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
This, after some netizens pointed out that Aeriel was allegedly in a relationship with Daniel when he and Kathryn were still together.
Patrick, in his post on X (formerly known as Twitter), strongly refuted the speculation that his wife was the one who destroyed the relationship of Kathryn and Daniel.
According to the actor, he didn’t know why his was suddenly involved in the KathNiel issue since he and his wife are not active in showbiz after getting married and welcoming their first child.
“We dont know where all of this is coming from. But I can assure you guys, my wife has nothing to do with this,” he said. “Yung di nila pag attend sa wedding namin before, naclear na namin yung reason kung bakit di sila nakapunta.”
He went on to tell the public to stop making false accusations against them as they’re trying to live a quiet life. According to him, he’s only talking about it because “nadawit nanaman name ng wife ko” and there’s no truth to that.

Patrick Sugui’s posts on X came after Kathryn’s older sister Kaye Bernardo posted on Instagram and Facebook after Kathryn unfollowed Daniel Padilla, Liza Soberano, Julia Barretto, and Gillian Vicencio on Instagram.
Because of this, Aeriel’s name quickly went viral on social media because of speculation that she was, allegedly, Daniel’s girl in 2018.
